Rockford Masonry Repair is a locally owned masonry contractor serving Rockford and all of Winnebago County, Illinois. We repoint brick, rebuild chimneys, replace rusted lintels, restore stone, and rebuild steps and porches. Most of what we touch is old, because that is what the brick and stone in this part of Illinois needs.

Rockford grew up in brick. The neighborhoods near the Rock River are full of houses laid before 1930, and that brick is soft and set in lime mortar. It does not take a hard portland joint the way a modern wall does. We match the mortar to the wall, sand and color included, so the repair moves with the brick instead of cracking it.
